Latah Recovery Center began in 2015 with the mission to help individuals enter and engage in recovery from addictions and mental health disorders through peer-to-peer interaction and evidence-based practices to promote a healthy community. We support all types of people in all types of recovery.
While we may be retiring our initial logo for now, we always be the same down-to-earth, approachable, and welcoming group of people dedicated to helping others when they need it most.
As of 2024, LRC has:
- Held 1284 coaching sessions.
- Hosted 67 case management sessions.
- Facilitated 213 short-term counseling sessions.
- Made more than 8,000 client contacts (meetings, classes, groups, etc.), serving an average of 25 people per month.
- Logged almost 3,000 volunteer hours.
- Attended to 325 individuals in crisis.
- Opened two Safe/Sober Oxford Houses.
We believe that helping an individual with their recovery has a ripple effect that benefits everyone from their close family and friends, coworkers, and community at large.
If you would like to help us as we expand the services and activities we offer, allowing us to deepen and broaden our impact on the community we serve, please consider donating or volunteering your time.
